Five months after 116,500 rsETH was stolen through a forged cross-chain message, KelpDAO's developer has sued LayerZero Labs and co-founder Bryan Pellegrino personally in British Columbia for negligence, negligent misrepresentation and defamation. Kelp says LayerZero reviewed and endorsed its 1-of-1 verifier config in writing. LayerZero says that config was the single point of failure and calls the suit 'meritless.'
