Brooklyn DA Eric Gonzalez and the FBI seized or disrupted 241 scam domains and more than 100 servers behind a crypto investment fraud that targeted Russian speakers across the US. It allegedly took tens of millions of dollars, and then the same crew pitched victims a fake 'recovery' service. After three years of investigation, about $300,000 has been recovered. No arrests have been announced.
