Blur, the NFT marketplace that took on OpenSea in 2023, will shut down blur.io on November 12, 2026, and its Blend lending product will stop matching new loans the same day. Monthly volume has fallen from about $1.43 billion at the March 2023 peak to under $7 million, according to The Block, and the BLUR token dropped more than 20% on the news. It's the second shutdown from founder Pacman's team in 10 days, after Blast.
