Circle Says Revenue Grew 17%. Take Out the $182M It Made Selling Its Own Token and Revenue Shrank. It's Also Cutting 5% of Staff

Circle's Q3 headline was $865M in revenue, up 17% year over year. $182M of that came from a one-off presale of ARC, the token for Circle's own blockchain. Without it, revenue fell about 8%, reserve income dropped 8%, USDC supply was flat year over year and USDC's market share slipped to 27%. Circle is also cutting about 5% of its workforce, and its own release mentions possible repayment if Arc misses launch milestones.
